OUR HISTORY

Collaborating in design since 2013, partners Jaclyn Duncan and Ryan Duncan formed Duncan Architects to provide a fresh take on architectural design across South Texas. The company was built on the partner’s years of experience in the most competitive markets across the United States, including managing and designing multiple projects in Austin, Houston, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. In 2020, the partners were ready for a fresh start in the industry, and set their eyes on the RGV. Duncan Architects was born shortly after.

Duncan Architects is a full-service architecture firm delivering attractive, contemporary designs for projects across South Texas. We combine strong project management with thoughtful, creative designs to help our clients realize their goals. We are licensed to practice architecture in Texas and Ohio, and bring over 23 years of combined experience in designing and managing office, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. As a growing firm based in McAllen, we are committed to engaging in innovative projects that have a lasting, positive impact on our community.
